Preliminary selection / 3 questions

Which IRONBLAST best suits your workshop?

The result uses only the documented working area, load capacity and air consumption. We confirm the final selection based on the part and loading method.

Quick comparison

Three working areas. Three operating requirements.

Start with the largest part you need to load into the chamber. These values come from the technical datasheets for each model.

Working areas at the same scale

The first two working area dimensions are shown at the same scale; the third is listed below each model.

The diagram shows the working area, not the entry doors or confirmation that a specific part will fit. Door dimensions are in the table below.

Practical answers

What to know before choosing a machine.

Air requirements, suitable materials, test cleaning and delivery terms in one place.

Another question? Write to us →
What is aquablasting and how does it work?

Aquablasting, or wet blasting, cleans surfaces with a mixture of water and abrasive media. Water reduces dust, cools the surface and helps produce a fine, even finish.

Which materials can be cleaned?

We commonly process aluminium, steel, stainless steel, brass, cast iron and selected plastics. The right process depends on the material, contamination and required finish, so we recommend testing the actual part first.

Which compressor does an IRONBLAST machine need?

Requirements depend on the model: approximately 1.1 m³/min for IB9065W, 1.5 m³/min for IB1010W and 2.2 m³/min for IB1212W, all at 6 bar. We select the compressor based on the machine's documented air consumption and the required operating reserve.

What is the difference between 8 and 10 bar on the J11CTG compressor?

Documented airflow is 1.6 m³/min at 8 bar and 1.4 m³/min at 10 bar. Higher pressure therefore means lower airflow. Suitability for a particular machine must be checked against delivered airflow, filters, pipework and operating reserve.

Which abrasive media are used?

IRONBLAST machines support glass-ceramic beads, crushed plastic and sand. Other abrasives are available on request once we have assessed the part material, contamination and required surface finish.

Are delivery and operator training included in the machine price?

We confirm machine delivery and operator training in the current quotation for the specific configuration and delivery location. Before delivery, we check the space, electrical connection and compressed air supply with you.

How does the free part test work?

By prior arrangement, you can send a part weighing up to 10 kg and measuring up to 400 × 250 × 150 mm. We normally process it within three days. The customer pays shipping both ways; if a machine is subsequently purchased, this shipping cost is deducted from the machine price.

What warranty and service support do you provide?

IRONBLAST machines carry a 12-month warranty excluding normal wear parts. We also provide service after the warranty period, technical support and spare parts under the terms of the specific quotation.

Which model should I choose?

Start with the dimensions of the largest part you need to load into the chamber. We then consider the entry doors, load capacity, workshop space and available compressed air. Send us a photo and the part dimensions and we will recommend a suitable model.
